Workflow card WC-03.2: Load and test standing instructions on one real task
From AI for Real Estate Agents (2026 Edition). Facts in, draft out, licensee signs.

Time: estimate: about 20 minutes

Trigger. You have filled in the standing instructions block (T-03.1) and the voice file (WC-03.1) and need to prove they work before you rely on them.

Inputs.

- Standing instructions block, filled in, disclosure line exact, compliance section unchanged
- Voice file v1, edited by you
- One real task from last week that you have already sent: a seller update, a buyer follow-up email, or a short listing description
- The facts you used for that task, with client names and the "never paste" items removed
- The version you actually sent, for comparison

Brief. (paste everything between the lines)

------------------------------------------------------------
Role: You are helping a licensed residential agent test whether the instructions saved in your settings are working. Follow my standing instructions and my voice file exactly as saved. You only use facts I give you. If you need a fact I have not given, ask instead of guessing.
Facts: [paste the task facts, client details removed]
Audience: [the audience of the original task, for example: a seller in the second week of a listing]
Voice: Use the voice file in my saved instructions. Do not restate it. If you cannot find it, tell me and stop.
Rules: Use only facts I give you; ask instead of guessing. Follow every rule in my standing instructions, including the banned phrases and the compliance section. No language about who should live here or who the neighbors are. Include "[license disclosure line]" only where my standing instructions say this kind of output is first-contact material; otherwise leave it out and say why.
Format: (1) The draft, in the format my standing instructions set for this kind of output. (2) A list titled "Instructions I applied" naming each standing instruction and voice rule you followed, by number. (3) A list titled "Instructions I could not apply" with the reason. After the output, list every fact you used and which input it came from.
------------------------------------------------------------

Check.

- Compare the draft, line by line, to the version you actually sent. Mark every sentence that does not sound like you; each one is a missing voice rule.
- Read "Instructions I applied." If a rule is missing from the list, the assistant did not see it: check that the block is saved in the settings, not only pasted in a chat.
- Confirm the disclosure line is present, exact, and in the right place if the output is first-contact material, and absent if it is not.
- Run the Fair Housing scrub (P-04.1) on the draft, even for a seller update.
- Check the banned phrases from your standing instructions against the draft by searching for each one.

Ship. Fix the voice file or the standing instructions, not the brief, and run the test once more. When the second pass matches your sent version closely, save both files as version 1 with the date in your own documents. Save the brief, with the facts removed, to your brief library as "Brain test, v1."

Compliance check. Ch. 4.3 (license disclosure on first-contact material), 4.1 (steering language), 4.5 (privacy and client data). The test task uses facts with client details removed; a real task does not go into a chat until the privacy review (T-03.2) is done.
