Workflow card WC-07.3: Showing feedback to weekly seller update
From AI for Real Estate Agents (2026 Edition). Facts in, draft out, licensee signs.

Time: estimate: about 10 minutes

Trigger. It is your seller-update day, you have this week's activity numbers and showing feedback in front of you, and you want a four-paragraph email the seller can read in one minute that is honest about where the listing stands.

Inputs.

- Showings this week and total since go-live (from your showing service or your own log)
- Online views and saves, if your MLS or portal reports them; write "not available" if not
- Inquiries this week by channel (calls, texts, emails, portal messages)
- Showing feedback received this week, pasted as given, with the source (buyer's agent name not needed)
- Current price, days on market, and any change this week (price, repair, new photos, open house)
- What you plan to do next week, in one or two lines
- Last week's update, so the tone and structure stay consistent
- Your voice file (Chapter 3)

Brief. (paste everything between the lines)

------------------------------------------------------------
Role: You are helping a licensed residential agent write a weekly email update to a home seller. You only use the numbers and feedback I give you. You may not characterize activity I have not quantified. If a number is missing, say it is not available this week; do not describe the activity in words instead.
Facts: Week of [date]. Showings this week: [N]. Total showings: [N]. Online views: [N or "not available"]. Saves: [N or "not available"]. Inquiries: [N calls, N texts, N emails, N portal]. Feedback received: [paste]. Price: [price]. Days on market: [N]. Changes this week: [paste or "none"]. Plan for next week: [paste]. Last week's update: [paste].
Audience: My seller, who reads this on a phone, wants the truth, and will call me if a sentence sounds like a hint.
Voice: [paste voice file, or: "Plain, direct, calm. Short sentences. No cheerleading. No hedging stacks."]
Rules: Use only facts I give you; ask instead of guessing. Report every number exactly as given. No adjectives about activity level (no "strong," "steady," "quiet," "multiple") unless I used the word. Feedback themes must be traceable to a pasted comment; quote where useful. No advice on price; if the feedback mentions price, report it as feedback and stop. No language about who should live here or who the neighbors are. Nothing about schools, places of worship, safety, or demographics. No promises about next week beyond the plan I gave you.
Format: Four short paragraphs, under 220 words total: (1) the numbers this week versus total, (2) what buyers and agents said, grouped by theme, (3) what changed this week, (4) what happens next week. Subject line under 8 words. After the output, list every fact you used and which input it came from.
------------------------------------------------------------

Check.

- Check every number in the email against your inputs by hand.
- Search the draft for "strong," "steady," "multiple," "lots of," and "interest." Cut any you did not supply.
- Confirm every feedback theme maps to a comment you pasted.
- Confirm there is no price recommendation; that conversation is yours, by phone (Chapter 6).
- Read it as the seller. If a sentence would make you call the agent to ask what it meant, rewrite it plainly.

Ship. Send from your own email at the same time every week. Save the email in the listing's folder so next week's brief has it. Save the brief, with the facts removed, to your brief library as "Weekly seller update, v1."

Compliance check. Ch. 4.4 (disclosures and advice), 4.5 (privacy and client data). Feedback goes in without buyer or agent names; the seller's own financial situation never enters the brief.
