Template T-14.1: Tool scorecard
From AI for Real Estate Agents (2026 Edition). Facts in, draft out, licensee signs.

Score one tool per sheet, before you buy and again at thirty days. Keep both sheets. Figure 14.2 is the printable version.

Tool: [name] Category (Figure 14.1): [1 to 7] Monthly cost: [$] Date scored: [date] Scored by: [you, not the assistant]

Score each question 1 to 5. 1 means no, or you could not find out. 5 means yes, clearly, and you can point to where it says so.

# | Question | Score (1 to 5)
1 | Does my time log show it saves time on a task I actually do every week? | [ ]
2 | Can I paste my own facts, voice file, and rules into it? | [ ]
3 | Does it keep an approval step before anything goes to a client? | [ ]
4 | Does the data policy say, in plain words, that my content is not used for training? | [ ]
5 | Can I export everything (contacts, drafts, transcripts) in a standard file? | [ ]
6 | Can I turn it off, delete my data, and cancel without a phone call? | [ ]
7 | Does it fit the compliance rules in Chapter 4 (disclosure, consent, labels)? | [ ]
8 | Is the monthly cost under what the time saved is worth to me? | [ ]
9 | Does it work with the tools I already pay for, without a second subscription? | [ ]
10 | Has it been live for a year, with a changelog I can read? | [ ]

Total (out of 50): [ ]

Verdict:

[ ] Keep
[ ] Cut
[ ] Try for 30 days (re-score on [date])

Hard rule. A score of 1 on question 4, 6, or 7 is a Cut regardless of the total. No exceptions for a good demo.

Notes. Where did you find the data policy? [page name]. What is the export format? [file type]. What task in the time log does this tool touch, and what were the minutes before and after? [task, before, after].
